First a crocodile is eaten by a python. 

Then a crocodile is eaten by an otter. 

The newspapers shout EATEN ALIVE! 

Well, what do you expect. Birds don't cook worms.

Lawyers and Estate Agents

Who earns the most money? Actuaries, lawyers and estate agents? 

As a teenager starting uni I thought lawyers and estate agents were dull. I liked philosophers and artists. When I look at them now, how they have all changed. The lawyers have become far more interesting. About the philosophers and artists, the least said the better. 

My biggest mistake as a teenager, not marrying a lawyer or an estate agent.

Hospital appointments

The NHS is complaining that it is losing millions of pounds (sterling) in missed appointments. I'm not surprised.
    If you could get through on the phone there would not be such a problem. I expect half the people have died before the appointment comes around.

   My beloved uncle Ronnie had died. My local hospital sent outpatient appointments for eye tests to my uncle who had died in the hospital. I went to the morgue to get him. And show them. But he was too heavy to lift - so I had to leave him there.
