I was born Hazel. But I always wanted to be blonde. At school I was called Hazel nut. So I adopted my middle name Angela. I tried to register the name Hazel Nut Publications but all the Hazel Nut and Cashew Nut and Almonds and Macadamia Nut factories had already got the websites. So I settled for hazel nutter. Nobody takes you seriously if you call yourself hazel nutter. You just say your name and they grin. So I had to go into comedy. They say if you have lemons make lemonade. If people alight you when you try to be serious go into comedy.
